Around 50 beetles, you will get a mix of adult beetles and larva. If you would like only larva for feeders please contact us. 
 
Buffalo beetles, or cleaner beetles (AKA lesser mealworms, or micro mealworms) are a natural way to keep your insect colonies clean! They will eat any decaying organic material, so dead insects.  They help fight mold, fungi, mites, flies and keep odors at a minimum.  They will not compete with your colony for resources.
 
The larvae can be safely eaten by your pets and make great feeders for smaller animals. 
 
These active little beetle's larvae are much smaller than mealworms. The larvae only reach 3/4"and the beetles are around 1/4" long.
